GENERALDUTIES Manages one or more large or complexengineering or EPCM projects or several smaller projects simultaneously   Has overall administrative responsibility forexecution of the project   Responsiblefor client interface budgets schedules and controls   Directs and coordinates engineeringactivities and all other related activities such as procurement cost controland CM Estimates sales proposals and presentation support REPORTS DIRECTLY TO               Manager of Projects (functionallyand administratively)DIRECTLY SUPERVISES                 ProjectEngineer(s) Lead Engineers Estimator(s)                                                             Scheduler(s) Project Coordinator Construction ManagerINDIRECTLY SUPERVISES            Project Team(s) ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS 1        Ability to participate in sales proposalpreparation with input to project management capabilities and review oftechnical information pertinent to the project 2        Ability to participate in presentationsto prospective clients and follow-up discussions and negotiations 3        Ability to establish client confidence tomanage the current project 4         Ability to administratively manage projectpersonnel5         Ability to interview and approve projectpersonnel 6         Ability to prepare performance appraisalinput for all project personnel   Also the ability to recommend training and development needs 7         Ability to direct technical andadministrative effort required to accomplish project requirements in accordancewith project scope of work design concept design criteria standard operatingprocedures schedule and budget 8         Ability to report on project statusinforming client and or preparing for management project review meetings   Directs the preparation of and approves ¨       Project management reports including Progress Report Project Control Report and Contract Status Report assisted byProject Engineer Lead Engineers Lead Designers and Project Coordinator ¨       Inquiry and Requisition Report PurchaseOrder Report Contract Status Report and Material Report in coordination withProcurement Department ¨       Invoices with the Engineering Department andsubmission to clients by the Accounting Department ¨       Requests for Change Orders for review andconcurrence by the Engineering Department and approval and submission toclient vendor(s) Purchasing Department ¨       Transmittal of Request for Quotations forreview and concurrence by Engineering Department and submission to vendors bythe Purchasing Department 9          Ability to ensure maintenance of projectfile during life of the project and archiving of files at the projectcompletion 10        Ability to provide technical analysis ofbids received by the Purchasing Department 11        Ability to obtain client approval of projectdeliverables 12        Ability to direct construction activitiesincluding obtaining of agency approvals review of shop vendor andmanufacturer drawings and analysis of client bid documents 13        Ability to travel as needed in order toperform functions such as construction site inspection information gathering and or client meetings 14        Ensures Project Deliverables Activitiesare being carried out in accordance with the WorleyParsons QA system 15        Ability to promote project teamwork for thecommon goal ensuring effective participation of all team members 16        Promote change within the organisation toincrease efficiency and recognise the individual successfully implemented 17        Make a regular contribution to recognitionschemes such as VIP scheme and employee of the month 18        Promote time management techniques toimprove efficiency by setting the correct example be punctual only invitethose people to a meeting who really need to be there SUPPLEMENTAL JOB DUTIES 1        Ability to adhere to the Project ManagementManual for current E&C Division standards procedures guidelines and requirements2
