My client, a national Operator, are currently recruiting for a new NGL plant project based in Oman.This will be a long-term, residential opportunity. Instrument EngineerReports to the Senior Engineer - Electrical, Instrument & ControlSummary:Provides technical engineering expertise pertaining to instrument Maintenance across NGL designated sites and all related operations, under Senior Engineer - Electrical, Instrument & Control as Technical Service provider of maintenance and execution of minor projects, modifications in accordance with the technical standards set by TSD to maintain the assets; through:(1) Develop, support and maintaining the instrument and control equipment both onshore and offshore to ensure that it remains efficient and productive.(2) Development of new project and improvements in instruments to improve solutions to facilities to ensure more reliability.3) Study and analyse chronic Instrument tuning problems and propose reliable solutions. 4) Ensure that Instrument Support Services preventive and corrective maintenance are accurately completed within the section; in order to support maintenance function to meet cost-effective, timely and efficient manner.Knowledge Experience & Qualifications: " Minimum Qualifications for this position is Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent." At least 8 Oil and Gas related experience in Mechanical with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role related to Operation and Maintenance of Gas Pipelines and Systems.Skills: " Good knowledge in gas processing and awareness in downstream gas based petrochemical industry and gas sweetening. Good conceptual and analytical skills." Sound understanding of the operational process." Develop and maintain productive and constructive relationships with site-based/offshore personnel, onshore operations/technical teams and external contractors/vendors.
