Company description Shell in Oman has been a partner in the country’s remarkable development and progress over the last several decades In Shell we have been providing pioneering technologies and expertise in the energy industry and creating value for the community that we have proudly been long part of Job Description Purpose Oman Shell is building the strategy and capability to execute an integrated gas project The success of Oman Shell will be strongly linked to our ability to deliver local content and In-Country Value by maximizing the participation of local Omani companies in the gas value chain Oman Shell will use the investment as a catalyst to accelerate Oman’s diversification and industrialization agenda This will require maximization of competitive In- Country  Value (ICV) across the entire investment and stimulating forward linkages that result in visible and well communicated sustainable and measurable impact (value and job creation) in the national economy Oman Shell has committed to develop a program that will accelerate the development of new ventures and supply chains that can serve Oman Shell’s ventures The vision of the Oman Shell ICV team is to power world class In-Country value in Oman - The incumbent will lead Oman Shell’s ICV strategy and drive opportunities in the enterprise and human capital development space     - The individual will be responsible for sourcing evaluating negotiating structuring and implementing opportunities for Oman Shell with the objective to maximize the participation of local Omani companies   - This role blends technology commercial and financial elements where the ICV Manager takes an opportunity from cradle to grave i e from scouting and delivery to implementation - As a leader of the ICV team the incumbent will need to work collaboratively across functions (including Project teams Legal Finance and Contracts & Procurements (C&P) to identify evaluate and negotiate opportunities from external investors and SME’s to collaborate with Oman Shell   - The incumbent will also need to build a deep understanding of the Omani industry landscape and regional nuances and provide the Oman Shell leadership team with the needed insight to drive intelligent sound decision-making   - The incumbent will also need to have strong quantitative skills strategic thinking and sound business judgment along with the ability to think about what is - and what could be Opportunity Identification- Build and develop external networks (with SME’s local companies government institutions international investors start-ups VC funds competitors operators and suppliers service providers) and internal networks to source compelling supply chain opportunities that can help create or expand existing supply chains in Oman while creating local jobs - Help develop a world-class partnering proposition and reputation for working with Shell ventures in Oman - Validate and structure collaboration opportunities (e g joint development agreements licensing demonstration projects investments JV’s etc ) that accelerate the deployment and participation of local Omani companies in Shell operations - Review the value of the proposals from local companies to Shell value chain and identify the addressable market within Oman Shell operations in close collaboration with the potential “users and customers” within Shell - Be a credible spokesperson for Shell’s wider ICV efforts in communications with the external world (conferences B2B meetings government institutions etc ) Strategy and Governance- Build the long-term strategy roadmap tactics and vision for Oman Shell’s ICV including linkages with Shell strategy in Integrated Gas Project and other joint venture operations in Oman   - Work with key partners and government institutions to develop a roadmap that catalyzes the development of SEZAD in line with Shell’s vision and aspirations - Build linkages with other opera
